  Maybe it's a bad trait. But the thing is, if the homeless of Philadelphia simply wanted money, why would they try to run me, with things like "hey you know me" and all that. If they simply wanted money, just ask. I don't have money, so I couldn't give you any, but I would feel much more inclined to give you money if I did. Now I just walk by, without acknowledging them. When they notice I don't even acknowledge their existence, they soon give up. Such a shame that the city of Philadelphia exudes such a negative influence on all of its residents.
